The Sports Facilities unit is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities both indoors and outdoors. This includes ice rinks, sports halls, natural grass fields, artificial turf fields, athletics facilities, running tracks, outdoor swimming pools, and casual activity areas. The unit's primary goal is to provide Täby municipality's residents with the best possible conditions to be physically active.
We are now seeking an hourly employee who can work on operations at Tibblevallen every other weekend from 16:30 to 00:00.
There will also be a need during public holidays, absences, etc.
As a sports facility worker, you are always the face of our operation and ensure that all visitors feel welcome and are met with a facility that maintains a high standard. The role of Sports Facility Worker is very broad and no two days are alike, which means great variety in the work. Tasks vary depending on the season and what the sports clubs need for their activities. The position also includes the use of various vehicles such as tractors, lawnmowers, and ice machines. In addition to machines, you have your competent colleagues as support.
The position will be based at Tibblevallen in Täby.

You are someone who is unpretentious and can pitch in where needed. You enjoy working at varying pace in an environment where human interaction is central. It is a merit if you are, or have been, active in a sports association. You also need an interest in sports and outdoor activities, you are ready to develop together with others, and you prioritize good service above all. Qualifications: Ice machine experience, B-class driver's license (manual transmission), secondary school education, and basic computer skills. You also need to have sufficiently good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
