The Sports and Associations Unit is responsible for operating and maintaining the municipality's sports facilities. These include ice rinks, sports halls, natural grass fields, artificial grass fields, track and field facilities, outdoor pools, and open activity areas.
The unit's primary goal is to provide Täby municipality residents with the best possible conditions for physical activity. We are now seeking a full-time employee who can work with the operation of our indoor facilities in the municipality.
The position will be based at the sports center (Tibblehallarna) in Täby. The role includes evening and weekend work.
The unit aims to offer world-class hospitality. The work tasks are varied and no two days are the same. Your primary task, along with your colleagues, is to create an attractive and welcoming environment in the facilities. At the 7,000 square meter facility, you will meet many people whom you will assist in various ways. This could involve guiding an elementary school class to the right changing room, as well as providing support to an association during an ongoing competition or match. As a sports worker, you are always the face of our operations and ensure that all visitors feel welcome and encounter a facility that maintains high standards.
The role includes ensuring that everything functions properly and that everything is clean and neat, but also finding new solutions and ideas that make things easier for our visitors. The role also includes administrative work such as handling emails, bookings, fault reports, purchasing, and contact with associations, schools, and suppliers. Certain flexibility and prioritization are required as the position is mobile—we oversee and are responsible for approximately 25 sports halls in the municipality and also have maintenance responsibility for the ice rink in the town square during winter.
During the summer when the sports halls close, you will also assist our teams working on the outdoor side.

Qualifications: B-class driver's license (Manual transmission), upper secondary education, and basic computer skills. You also need sufficiently good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
