Skogsängsskolan is a newly built F-6 school with excellent facilities and a fantastic schoolyard. We have grown in recent years and currently have approximately 460 students in a 3-parallel organization. We work together here with a focus on collegial learning. We work preventatively to create safety and good conditions for student learning in our multicultural school unit. We use differentiated and language-developing methods for higher goal achievement. The school has a comprehensive student health team including a counselor, school nurse, social pedagogue, special education teacher and special needs educator, school psychologist and school doctor from central student health services. To create security and study peace, we place great emphasis on norms, values, and good relationships. An important part of this work is our organized and well-functioning recess activities.

JOB DUTIES
With us, you teach physical education and health to students in grades 1-6. You share the teaching with an experienced colleague. Some classes you teach together in a two-teacher model. You adapt your teaching to the students' age and knowledge level. You create a safe environment where all students feel included and have the opportunity to develop confidence in their own physical abilities. The school has its own gymnasium and excellent opportunities for outdoor teaching in the nearby nature. Together with a colleague, you share the mentorship of a class in middle grades. As a mentor, you follow students' academic and social development, maintain contact with guardians, and help create safety, well-being, and good conditions for learning. You contribute to the school's common work with classroom leadership, study peace, and accessible learning environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree and teacher certification with qualifications to teach physical education and health. You can also be near the end of your education and finish soon. It is meritorious if you have experience teaching in school and are accustomed to working according to the current curriculum.

You have good ability to build relationships and can adapt your leadership based on situation and student group.
