JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now looking for a dedicated physical education teacher at Perslundaskolan in Ockelbo municipality who, together with their work team, wants to create the best conditions for learning and a safe and active school day for all students. As a physical education and health teacher, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and developing your teaching in close collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute to awakening students' joy of movement and interest in health, and work to ensure that all students feel included and safe. The role also includes close collaboration with student health services. Main duties include: • Plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction in physical education and health • Lead and organize instruction both indoors and outdoors • Mentorship and responsibility for students' development and well-being • Create and develop a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment based on curriculum and governing documents • Collaborate with colleagues and student health services to promote students' learning and well-being • Plan and conduct outdoor activities and other movement-promoting activities QUALIFICATIONS We see that you who are applying are a licensed teacher with certification to teach Physical Education and Health, grades 4-6. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered a merit. You are well-grounded in the school's governing documents and can use your knowledge effectively in your daily work. To succeed in this assignment, you have a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a dedicated educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your instruction based on your students' different conditions and needs. An extract from the criminal record is required upon employment. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-08-12, End date: 2027-06-15. You must bring a valid passport or national ID card to the interview. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES, you must also be able to prove your right to work in Sweden by showing a valid residence and work permit.
