Ljunghaga School in Holsljunga is seeking a dedicated physical education teacher who wants to inspire our students toward joy in movement, health, and community!
About the Position
Ljunghaga School is a small F–6 school in a rural and very peaceful setting, where proximity to nature permeates the entire operation. We work with small student groups, which creates a warm and family-like atmosphere and provides excellent opportunities to see each student and build secure relationships.
The school's pedagogical approach emphasizes creativity, variety, and learning that awakens curiosity and desire. With us, students explore, experiment, and think for themselves — and as a teacher, you have the freedom to work practically, thematically, and imaginatively to stimulate their sense of discovery.
We work with analog methods as our foundation, and digital tools are used sparingly and with clear purpose. The school's surroundings — forests, meadows, lakes, and farm environments — provide excellent opportunities for outdoor education and real-world teaching.
The teaching team works closely and continuously together, and great emphasis is placed on collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to the whole. All adults at the school share responsibility for meeting students' needs for belonging, security, and appreciation. We are therefore looking for someone who thrives in an operation where relationships, collaboration, and shared responsibility are central.

We Are Looking for Someone Who
