Your primary mission will be to create better conditions for more people with disabilities to find their way into sports—and stay involved. As a sports consultant, you will work to strengthen and develop our existing clubs, support more clubs in starting parasports activities, help more athletes find their way to our clubs, and create better conditions for parasports together with municipalities and other actors. You work closely with clubs to support and develop their activities, build collaborations with municipalities and other actors, and drive projects, training programs, and other initiatives that help develop parasports. You will, among other things: develop and support sports clubs through advice, inspiration, and training create collaborations with municipalities, clubs, schools, rehabilitation services, and other key actors work actively on recruitment to bring more people into parasports initiate, plan, drive, and follow up on projects and development initiatives plan and conduct meetings, networking events, training programs, and activities deliver lectures and train leaders, athletes, and boards inform about and promote Västra Götaland Parasports Association's activities build and develop networks within sports and among other important collaborators. You will have significant responsibility and great opportunity to plan and structure your work. At the same time, you will be part of a team where we help each other, share experiences, and develop our activities together. Working hours are variable and irregular. Meetings, activities, and events regularly occur in the evenings and on weekends, and travel within Västra Götaland is a natural part of the job. Who are we looking for? You see opportunities, take initiative, and move the work forward. At the same time, you need to be organized and have strong administrative skills. In this role, multiple collaborations and projects often run in parallel, so you need to be able to plan, prioritize, and follow up on your work. We are looking for someone who has: post-secondary education in areas such as sports, health, public health, leisure, education, or other education that we consider equivalent experience driving projects or development work strong ability to create and develop relationships good administrative skills and ease with structuring and prioritizing your work strong communication skills and comfort speaking to groups good digital competence and familiarity with standard office programs B-class driver's license and access to your own car. It is meritorious if you have experience with: sports and club life parasports working with people with disabilities training, lecturing, or leading groups and processes.
