IAM Specialist – Government Agency – Technicians, Developers, and Solution Architects!

About the Position Perido is now recruiting IAM specialists for our client, a socially important government agency located in Norrköping. We are seeking candidates at various seniority and competency levels for three main specializations: IAM Technician, IAM Developer, and Solution Architect for IAM. In this role, you will be part of an engaged team where you collaborate closely with other technicians, developers, architects, and security specialists. Together, you will work to create reliable, accessible, and future-proof identity and access management solutions. Your Responsibilities Based on Your Specialization 1. IAM Technician You will work operationally with development, configuration, management, and operation of the agency's IAM platforms and identity solutions. You will ensure that the right people have the right permissions at the right time, with high demands on both security and availability. You will set up and maintain federations (internal and with external partners) and perform troubleshooting, log analysis, monitoring, and incident management in production environments. 2. IAM Developer / Systems Developer You will develop platforms and services for secure and seamless digital identification and authentication flows that support other development teams. You will participate in design, development, and configuration in a modern cloud-native environment based on Kubernetes, Docker, and Java. You will contribute to developing systems toward a loosely coupled and event-driven landscape using automation and DevOps principles. 3. Solution Architect for IAM You will analyze the current state and identify development needs within IAM, IGA, PAM, and AM in close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. You will define target architecture, principles, and strategic decisions, and develop solution proposals based on open standards. You will ensure that solutions comply with information security requirements and anchor architectural decisions with both IT and business stakeholders. Qualifications Common Requirements for All Roles: Swedish citizenship (required for placement in security-classified roles). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with and knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML2, OAuth 2.0/2.1, and OIDC. Specialization-Specific Qualifications: For IAM Technician: Production experience with configuration and operation of IAM solutions, experience with federation solutions, and troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident management. For IAM Developer: Several years of experience in systems development within IAM and post-secondary education in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent. For Solution Architect: Several years of experience working as a solution architect within IAM, IGA, PAM, and/or AM in a larger organization, and experience with IdP platforms. Desirable Competencies (depending on specialization): Experience working in government or other security-classified environments. Development experience with Java, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps principles. Experience with Microsoft ADFS and/or Keycloak. Certifications in IT security or IT architecture. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience with documentation and process development.
