Background The Swedish Public Employment Service has the task of strengthening employment and contributing to more businesses being started and developed throughout the country. Growing entrepreneurship contributes both to individuals achieving self-sufficiency and to the creation of new job opportunities. There are job seekers who intend to start their own business but lack sufficient knowledge in areas such as business economics, law, marketing, business planning, and digital competence. The procured education is intended to reduce these knowledge gaps and thus contribute to increased employment and more job opportunities by facilitating more people to start businesses. Arcus is now seeking engaged instructors for the assignment: Business Start-up Preparation Training. The training is a preparatory course for business start-up and is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Public Employment Service. The training shall provide participants with basic knowledge about entrepreneurship in Sweden and support in developing and formulating a business plan. Upon completion, participants shall have created a comprehensive business plan and have a clear understanding of what it means to start and run a business. Course Duration: 35 days per participant group. Groups of 15 participants start continuously nationwide according to established start dates, distributed across four delivery areas covering all of Sweden. The training is conducted remotely by instructors and educators. Formal Competence Lead Instructor As the lead instructor, you will have overall responsibility for the training's pedagogical content, pedagogical design, and planning and implementation of instruction. The lead instructor shall actively participate in and conduct the teaching. Competence and Experience The lead instructor must meet at least the following requirements: Formal Education Documented post-secondary education in business economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, or equivalent, encompassing at least two (2) years of full-time studies. Pedagogical Experience A total of at least two (2) years of documented experience teaching adults in settings such as upper secondary school, higher education, adult education programs (Komvux), or equivalent educational activities. The experience must be relevant to the field of business, entrepreneurship, or business start-up. The experience must have been acquired within the last five (5) years. Business Experience Owned your own business, been a partner in a business, or have at least two (2) years of documented practical experience in business, fulfilled through other professional work that can be demonstrated as relevant practical business experience.
