Centrumkåren's Family Work For over 30 years, the Salvation Army's family work has supported single mothers and their children. This includes providing community and meals. Every week we organize meetings with lunch and dinner for single mothers and their children. We also run an integration project together with an SFI school, where we arrange breakfast and lunch in connection with a language café. Through our work, we want to create meaningful meeting places and counteract loneliness and vulnerability. As a housemom, you will work in a team of four part-time positions that includes two family consultants and two housemoms. We are looking for you to work at 50% capacity alongside our already established housemom who works 25%. In addition to this, you will be part of a larger work team connected to Centrumkåren's congregational life. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES Housemom Position: We are looking for a housemom who can contribute to a safe and warm atmosphere where our participants feel at home. In work that revolves heavily around food, you as a housemom have an important role to fill. You plan menus, handle shopping, are responsible for food handling, bake, cook and serve food. The position includes cleaning the facility's premises, kitchen, common room and restrooms every week. The work is performed independently or together with volunteers for whom you are responsible. We highly value our volunteers and are looking for someone who enjoys leading others and helping them reach their potential. The position involves both day and evening work. During the year we have camps and certain holiday activities. The position is based on trust working hours and we are looking for someone who can structure their work and plan their time well. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • enjoys working with both food and people • is flexible and can work independently and in groups • enjoys practical work and is solution-oriented • enjoys leading others • is comfortable with the Swedish language in speech and writing • shares the Salvation Army's faith and values Qualifications • Housemom training or equivalent. However, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. • Food handling training • Experience from large-scale kitchens or similar work • B-driving license Salary Form: Monthly salary.
