In your role as HSEQ Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to influence and shape our future. You will ensure that our factories and processes comply with all relevant laws and regulations, contributing to a safe and sustainable workplace for all employees. Your work will focus on creating and promoting a strong safety culture where every individual feels involved and responsible for our shared work environment. As HSEQ Manager, you will lead and develop a team in close collaboration with production to achieve the organization's goals. The HSEQ organization consists of 5 employees, all of whom report directly to the HSEQ Manager. You will be part of the plant's local management group and report to the Plant Manager. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement HSEQ policies to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards. Support the line organization in conducting risk assessments to identify and address potential workplace hazards. Support the line organization in conducting Safety Walks and Safety Talks of high quality. Ensure that quality controls are carried out according to company standards and ensure that the company complies with environmental legislation. Lead and coordinate HSEQ training to create a strong and sustainable safety culture within the organization. Participate in and lead projects to implement new processes and improvements within the HSEQ area. Act as a contact person with authorities and external suppliers on HSEQ-related matters. What type of expertise are we looking for? You have a combination of solid knowledge in the field and leadership qualities that make you a motivating and effective leader. With your ability to both develop and drive work forward, you contribute to a safe and productive work environment. Qualifications: Relevant academic background or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in leadership with the ability to lead and develop teams. Very good knowledge of occupational health and safety, quality, and environmental work. Good communication skills, decision-making ability, and the ability to create a positive work environment where your employees feel comfortable and engaged.
