At the School of Performing and Musical Arts, musicians, composers, music, dance and theater teachers, musical artists, opera singers, and actors are educated. The operations include approximately 600 full-time students and more than 160 employees who together conduct education, research, and development work. We are now seeking a personnel administrator to join our team. The HR function is part of the administrative unit together with education and research support, finance, communication, coordinator, and government support, led by an administrative director. You will become an important part of an operational HR function that works closely with the school's leadership, managers, and employees. The HR function at the School of Performing and Musical Arts currently consists of one personnel administrator and two personnel administrators. Duties As a personnel administrator, you are a strategic and consultative support to leadership and managers on HR matters. The role combines strategic development work with operational management and gives you the opportunity to both contribute your expertise in daily work and be involved in developing the operations long-term. You will work with occupational environment and rehabilitation, recruitment, skills supply, salary formation, and labor law. An important part of the role is to develop, implement, quality assure, and follow up HR processes and methods. You prepare decision-making materials, handle cases, work in personnel systems, and present at various consultations. Work is conducted both independently and in close collaboration with HR colleagues at the school and faculty. Our methods and roles are constantly evolving, so you need to have a curious and constructive approach to change. Qualifications We are looking for you: who have an academic degree in personnel and labor affairs or other higher education deemed relevant for the role with experience working as HR support to managers at various levels, preferably for several years who have worked in several key HR areas, such as occupational environment, change management, salary formation, negotiation, and skills supply with a strong ability to create trusting relationships and contribute to well-functioning collaboration who express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, as the university is an international environment. You can present written information concisely and clearly in the form of decision-making materials and reports. with good knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations within the HR field and public operations, and can implement them in practice in a clear and pedagogical manner with experience using various administrative systems and who find it easy to learn new systems. Experience with the Primula salary system and the Retendo scheduling system is a merit. Experience from the higher education sector or other public operations is a merit. It is of great importance that you as a person are solution-oriented and have the ability to switch between a holistic perspective and details, and between independent work and collaboration. As a person you are confident, responsible, and structured. High integrity, attentiveness, and good self-leadership are important qualities for the role.
