As an HR Partner at the Individual and Family Administration, you will be a natural support resource for the social services management team. You work closely with operations, participate in management group work, and provide broad, consultative HR support. We are in an exciting development phase with changes related to new social services legislation, reforms, and new ways of working. We welcome you!
Your Responsibilities
You are an important part of our managers' daily work and a consultative resource for all HR-related questions. The responsibilities are varied, development-oriented, and sometimes challenging, combining operational HR work with long-term development initiatives.
We work with labor law, rehabilitation, work environment, compensation, skills development, and building our employer brand – in fact, the entire employee journey! You also plan and conduct trainings and workshops for both our managers and employees.
You will join a competent and committed team that supports each other in daily work. Together with you, we will be three HR Partners and one HR Manager. We each participate in a management group and serve as the first point of contact for our respective managers across different operational areas.
The HR unit is part of the Individual and Family Administration. Learn more about our administration here:

Your Qualifications
As a person, you are confident and thrive in meeting with people. It comes naturally to you to build trusting relationships and work consultatively to support managers in making well-informed decisions. You contribute to good collaboration with colleagues, managers, and others in your environment. Your communication is clear, both verbally and in writing, and you are attentive in dialogue with others. You thrive in an environment where you need to reprioritize based on needs, and independently drive your processes forward.
You have an education in, for example, human resources or behavioral science or equivalent. You have experience with HR-focused work, and knowledge of labor law and systematic work environment management. Experience in work-oriented rehabilitation and union cooperation is a merit.
What We Offer
An HR assignment where you can expand your HR perspective, work close to core operations, and both develop and be challenged – sometimes on the same day! You are welcome to join an engaged team with broad knowledge and extensive experience, where we support each other and take pride in what we build together. With us, there is room to grow and we ensure that you are always updated on new regulations, agreements, and important changes in the field.
But most importantly: you become part of something bigger. With warmth and respect, we demonstrate initiative in both big and small matters. Every day we ensure that Västerås works, and with your approximately 11,500 colleagues around the city, you get Sweden's most important job.
We believe in trust and freedom with responsibility. This means that you plan your own workday, have flexible hours, and the opportunity to work remotely part of the time.
