We are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist who wants to help develop our operations. The role combines responsibility for the payroll process with broad HR work and gives you the opportunity to gradually grow into greater responsibility.
Since our current Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist is planning to retire in a few years, we are now seeking her successor. You will have the opportunity to work closely with her, get to know our operations, processes and systems, and gradually take over responsibility for payroll management at Svenska Foder.
About the Role
As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you will work with both payroll and HR in close collaboration with the HR Manager.
This is a broad and varied role where you combine independent payroll work with HR support to the business. You work closely with our managers and employees and contribute to developing people, processes, and organization.
Examples of Responsibilities
Independently manage the payroll process and associated administration
Ensure correct handling of wages, collective agreements, and salaried employees
Responsible for reporting to authorities, pension and insurance companies
Ensure correct reconciliation of wages, pensions, social contributions, and other payroll-related accounts in collaboration with the finance department
Provide support and advice to managers on HR and employment law matters
Support employees with questions related to employment and payroll
Work with rehabilitation, work environment, and other personnel-related matters
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and skills development
Contribute to the development of HR processes, routines, and working methods
Participate in HR and system-related development projects

Who Are You?
You have experience with payroll management and thrive in a role where you also work broadly with HR matters.
Maybe you work today as a payroll specialist with HR responsibility. Maybe you are an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Business Partner in an organization where you independently manage the payroll process.
As a person, you are responsible, structured, and unpretentious. You have a talent for building trust, enjoy collaborating, and appreciate working closely with both people and business.
We believe you have
Experience with independent payroll work
Experience with broad HR work
Good knowledge of employment law and HR processes
Good system knowledge, preferably from HR and payroll systems
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
