Your workday as an HR Coordinator As an HR Coordinator, you will have a central function in the department. You will mainly work closely with the entire HR team and contribute to creating consistent and cohesive management of processes within the HR area. The role involves operational and administrative HR work, with a clear focus on structuring, coordinating, developing, and digitalizing processes. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on administrative workflows, while identifying improvement needs and driving forward the development of working methods and routines. You will be a key person in creating order, efficiency, and quality in our HR work and ensuring that HR processes are effective, legally sound, and fit for purpose. In the role, you will have the opportunity to develop Högskolan Dalarna's HR processes. We are looking for someone who can combine practical HR work with an understanding of digital tools, documentation, and how HR collaborates with the rest of the organization. To be able to contribute with fit-for-purpose and well-functioning administrative processes, we see it as a prerequisite that you have a good understanding of how the various HR processes work in practice and how HR work aligns with the organization's needs. Your main areas of responsibility Coordinate and develop HR processes. Ensure structure, quality, and efficiency in HR work. Work operationally with HR administration. Identify areas for improvement and drive development of working methods. Contribute to digitalization and smart use of systems and digital tools. Are you the person we are looking for? To succeed in the assignment, you are structured, meticulous, and have a strong sense of order with a natural aptitude for coordinating and keeping workflows together. You pay attention to details but also have the ability to step back and see connections and how different parts of processes relate to each other. You have good administrative skills and are curious about actively using and developing digital tools and see opportunities with new technology, including AI, to streamline and quality-assure administrative processes. The role involves close collaboration with both HR colleagues and the organization, which requires that you as a person are communicative, collaboration-oriented, and have a professional approach. You are expected to work independently within your area of responsibility; as a person, you therefore take your own initiatives, drive your tasks forward, and handle confidential information with high integrity. The role also requires: Degree from a university or college with a focus on personnel, working life, and organization, or equivalent post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent Administrative skills Experience working with HR processes Experience independently working with process development and coordination Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have: Experience of HR work from a university or college Experience of HR work from a government agency Experience working with personnel administration systems Experience of developing/digitalizing processes.
