HR Consultant for HR Support, Region Västernorrland

The unit is responsible for expert and consultative support within the HR field, where HR-direkt helps create accessible and comprehensive support for all managers in the region. HR-direkt provides quick and accessible support via email and telephone for general and defined HR questions from the organization's managers. Questions within a broad HR field are handled and answered here, making the assignment both varied and educational with many daily contacts. For the right person, there are great opportunities to grow into other roles and assignments within the HR organization after some time in HR-direkt. Therefore, this role is a good starting point for you who are relatively newly educated and at the beginning of your development journey within HR. We at HR Support are now seeking two HR consultants to replace regular employees in connection with an expanded assignment within operational HR support. These positions are temporary, full-time, with start date September 17, 2026 through December 31, 2026. The work location is Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, or Härnösand and will be determined in dialogue with your manager. Responsibilities Provide support and information to managers regarding employment law and agreements as well as the employer's processes and governing documents within the HR field Provide relief through administrative/investigative assignments within the unit Other tasks may be assigned Qualifications We are looking for you who Have an academic degree with a focus on HR, or alternatively have other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is a merit if you Have work experience from the HR field, preferably within a municipality/region, and have knowledge of applicable collective agreements To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities Collaboration skills Structured Self-motivated Service-oriented Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
