Welcome to us! Your responsibilities As an HR Consultant with us, you have a meaningful and varied assignment where you work closely with our principals and assistant principals. You serve as professional support and coach managers in their employer role. Your primary responsibilities include: Support and coach managers in operational HR matters such as talent acquisition, work environment, rehabilitation, employment law, and change management. Provide advice and support regarding legislation and collective agreements. Collaborate and contribute to good and constructive cooperation with trade union organizations. Drive the development of work environment and leadership in our operations. Develop HR work together with your colleagues to ensure relevant and effective support to the department's managers. To give you the best possible start, you will have a personal mentor during your first period who supports you in the introduction and helps you get familiar with our processes and systems. Trust-based employment terms apply to this position. Your workplace Operational HR is part of the Education Administration's HR Department, which consists of approximately 30 employees in total. Our specific unit consists of 11 HR consultants under the leadership of a unit manager. We operate from our office located in central Linköping. The HR Department is one of several important support functions for approximately 220 managers leading our preschools and schools. In total, the Education Administration has approximately 6,000 employees. We are now seeking two HR consultants. These positions are temporary assignments due to parental leave, expected to run during the period 26.11.01-27.09.30. About you We seek someone with a degree from an HR or PA program, or another equivalent education that the employer considers comparable. The role requires that you have good communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as your role requires you to interpret legal texts, draft agreements, and communicate freely with managers and trade union parties. It is advantageous if you have experience with independent work in operational HR assignments. It is also advantageous to have employment law work experience, and we would like to see that you have experience working with municipal agreements. To thrive and succeed in the role, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your task, structure your approach independently, and move your processes forward. You have a pronounced holistic perspective, meaning you see the big picture and consider the broader perspective. You understand your role, but always look to the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions. Since the work involves substantial support to the organization's managers, you have very good collaboration skills. You work well with other people, relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner, and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You are service-oriented and demonstrate a calm, attentive, and accommodating demeanor. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Finally, you have pedagogical insight, which means you have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and people's different circumstances, and you adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
