We are now seeking an HR Consultant with particular focus on labor law for the HR Department at Arvika Municipality, as one of our colleagues has chosen to move on to new challenges. The HR Department's mission is to develop and drive the municipality's personnel matters and provide qualified support to the municipality's managers in their leadership and operational development. With us, you'll be part of an engaged and competent HR team that currently consists of seven HR consultants. Within the HR Department, there are also ten employees in payroll and our Recruitment and Competence Center, which provides organization-wide support with recruitment, staffing, and training. Together, we work to develop Arvika Municipality as an attractive and sustainable employer. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in labor law and who thrives in an advisory and strategic role where you get to work closely with operational managers. You have the ability to analyze complex labor law issues, translate laws and agreements into practical solutions, and create confidence in the organization through professional support and guidance. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we see that you have: An academic degree in HR and working life or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Several years of experience in qualified HR work with emphasis on labor law. Very good knowledge of labor law and experience in independently handling labor law processes. Experience with union negotiations and collaboration matters. Experience providing consultative support to managers in complex personnel matters. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Good knowledge of the Office suite. Area of Responsibility As an HR Consultant with a focus on labor law, you are the municipality's qualified support in labor law matters and processes. You work closely with operational managers and provide both strategic and operational support to ensure legally sound and professional handling of personnel matters. Your main responsibilities are to: Drive and coordinate labor law matters from advisory to implementation. Represent the employer in union negotiations in accordance with the Co-Determination in the Workplace Act and other labor law regulations. Provide qualified support to managers in interpreting and applying laws, agreements, and internal guidelines. Work with collaboration, collective agreements, and wage formation matters. Contribute labor law expertise in organizational changes and development projects. Train and inform managers on labor law, collaboration, and employer matters. The role also includes work in other HR areas such as occupational environment, rehabilitation, competence supply, and management support, but labor law forms the central part of the assignment.
