About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is valued as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us from the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), and we offer them a stable platform and the opportunity to develop their skills and competencies. Our main goal is for 1,500 people each year to leave us for employment outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work in our organization, our mission and goals are always present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and driving force for all of us. We believe that you, reading this, feel just as strongly about it as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society as a whole.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the Position
Your contribution to Samhall is to create conditions for our employees to trust in their competence and take the step into the regular labor market.
As an HR Generalist in Nyköping-Katrineholm, you will be part of the district's HR team together with an HR Business Partner and five other HR Generalists (in Norrköping, Linköping, Eskilstuna, and Visby). You report to the HR Business Partner, who is also part of the district's management team.
Your Role
As an HR Generalist with us, you will have a central role in developing HR work in the district. You work closely with managers in operations and the HR team to ensure a consistent culture, efficient working methods, and compliance with policies and guidelines. The work also includes negotiations with union representatives on various personnel matters and managing wage processes within the LO collective.
You provide operational HR support where you coach and guide managers on HR processes, leadership, work environment, and individual accommodations related to employees within Samhall's labor market policy mission. An important part of your role is to support managers in managing sick leave, rehabilitation, and preventive measures to create sustainable working conditions.
You also contribute to the district's proactive training planning that develops employees' professional skills and ensures the right competence for current and future client assignments. In this role, you ensure good and professional collaboration with external partners such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, union organizations, the Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), and occupational health services. Together with HR colleagues and other parts of the organization, you help develop and maintain consistent, efficient, and high-quality HR work throughout the operation.
Who Are You and What Drives You?
We welcome applicants who have a higher education degree in HR or equivalent education and/or relevant experience. Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. You have broad HR experience and solid knowledge of labor law and experience with union negotiations. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the Swedish Public Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency.
To thrive with us, it is important that you are unpretentious, have a positive mindset, and can quickly shift focus. You have a talent for meeting people and are service-oriented, while also having the sensitivity to challenge the managers you support in a coaching manner. We believe you are a skilled relationship builder who will become a natural conversation and collaboration partner for our managers and others in the organization. You work independently and feel confident doing so, but you also value collaboration and a good work environment just as much as we do.
In this role, you will work throughout the district but primarily in Nyköping and Katrineholm. This means the position will involve some travel, which requires a valid driver's license (Category B).
As our new colleague, it is important that you believe in people's abilities and share our core values: Belief in all people's equal worth – Confidence in all individuals' abilities – The value of work for individual and societal development.
