Description:

Nordic Training Group (NTG) is a Swedish group that focuses on vocational labor market training, adult education (komvux), vocational university education, and corporate training. In Sweden, the group operates through its subsidiaries YrkesAkademin, YH Akademin, and NTG SC. YrkesAkademin is one of Sweden's leading providers of vocational education for adults. We work closely with industry and offer training that leads to employment. For us, participant development is central, and we work together to give people a new chance in working life. YH Akademin is currently one of the country's largest providers of web-based vocational university education. Our training programs are planned, packaged, and delivered in close collaboration with the business sector. NTG SC is the company where the group's support and administrative functions are conducted. Operations are conducted throughout the country and the group has a turnover of approximately 800 million with strong results and approximately 500 employees. Nordic Training Group is seeking HR DIRECTOR Do you want to help shape a modern, business-close, and development-oriented HR function in a growing education group? Nordic Training Group is seeking a strategic and operational HR director who wants to take full responsibility for HR and payroll matters across the group. Why choose Nordic Training Group We offer a central role in a forward-thinking and value-driven education group with presence throughout Sweden, characterized by innovation, responsibility, and sustainability. Here you will have the opportunity to further develop the HR function as the business grows, with great opportunity to influence working methods, leadership, and culture across the entire group. Together with approximately 500 employees in our companies, we contribute every day to competence supply in society. We are in a development phase where we are building a more cohesive, business-close, and future-secure HR function for a group where the pace is high and decision-making paths are short. Here you get a role with real impact – on structure, working methods, leadership, and culture. This is an opportunity for you who wants to combine strategic responsibility with operational presence, and who is driven to create order, direction, and sustainable solutions in a complex and changing organization. What we offer you Your mission is to analyze current state, needs, risks, and development opportunities within the group's HR and payroll area, and then provide the basis for strategic choices, priorities, management, and decisions to the management group. You ensure that HR support meets the needs of operations within the group's companies, and translate decisions and needs into functioning processes, working methods, support initiatives, and deliverables. This occurs through clear ownership of analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the HR function's mandate. With us you get overall responsibility for HR and payroll at the group level, with the mandate to shape structure, working methods, resources, and priorities based on operational needs. You work closely with management and leaders in the operations and ensure that the HR function is clear support to operational needs. The role suits you if you thrive in a varied daily routine where you switch between strategic development work, qualified management support, and operational handling of HR matters. To assist you, you have a team consisting of HR and Payroll staff. Since our entire business is based on procured agreements, operations may need to be reduced or expand significantly in terms of staffing with short notice. Therefore, you become an important part of creating stability and structure in a changing environment. What we are looking for in you We are looking for you who thrives in a role where you both think long-term and act in the here and now. You are confident in your HR expertise, have clear personal drive, and are used to taking responsibility all the way – from analysis to implementation. You have higher education in HR or labor law, or alternatively have acquired equivalent expertise through professional work experience. You have solid experience in qualified HR work in a leading role in a larger organization, and a good understanding of both strategic and operational perspectives. Labor law, negotiation, and cooperation are natural parts of your daily work, and you are used to handling complex personnel matters with both knowledge, clarity, and good judgment. As a person you are structured and solution-oriented, with the ability to create order and momentum even in unclear situations. You have integrity and courage to stand by your judgments, while at the same time you easily build trust in different parts of the organization – whether you meet managers, employees, or union representatives. You move freely between different perspectives and environments and have a good sense of what the business needs. You also have an interest in how digitalization and AI can help develop HR work forward. You have good knowledge of Swedish and preferably English. It is a merit if you have: - Experience from the education sector, service operations, or other knowledge-intensive organizations. - Experience supporting leaders in operations with multiple companies, units, or geographic locations. - Experience in change management and organizational change. - Experience with HR systems and payroll processes. - Experience with digital development within HR. - Experience developing employer brand and working strategically with employee engagement and cultural issues.
