Job Responsibilities In your role as HR Director, you create conditions for a strong, collaborative, and development-oriented team where people support each other and share knowledge in daily work. You are a trusted leader with awareness of your strengths and weaknesses. You apply a trustful approach and have a strong ability to help your employees grow. As HR Director, you contribute to the municipality's strategic management work and have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and coordinating the municipality's personnel policy work. The position includes responsibility for the entire HR area, such as labor law, recruitment, skills supply, work environment, labor negotiations, rehabilitation, salary formation, management support, and development of digitalized HR processes. You have the ability to see the big picture and think strategically in management forums, while being structured in your approach and having a strong ability to implement methods and tools that create long-term added value for the organization. You contribute to psychological safety in the organization by being unpretentious and innovative, as well as having the ability to build relationships and create value through collaboration. We are looking for you who want to contribute to the municipality's culture and sustainability work and who thrive in a role where you get to alternate between strategic and operational work, where an important part is to build relationships with the municipality's employee groups through presence in the operations. Qualifications Requirements - University or college degree in HR or related field. - Deep knowledge of employer and labor law issues, with at least 5 years of experience in qualified HR work at both operational and strategic levels. - Very good knowledge of the Office package and experience with various HR systems. - Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. - B-class driver's license. Meritorious - Management experience with budget and personnel responsibility, preferably in HR. - Experience working with labor law issues in a politically governed organization. - Good knowledge of relevant central collective agreements and General Terms and Conditions. - Experience in driving development and change initiatives. About the Organization As HR Director in Ånge Municipality, you are offered varied work in a development-oriented role where trust, responsibility, and teamwork are fundamental pillars and HR is a natural and important part of the organization's success. As HR Director, you report directly to the Municipal Manager and are part of the municipality's management group, thus offering you a central position with significant own mandate and good opportunities to contribute to both culture and structure. You have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for the HR unit, which consists of four HR consultants, two payroll administrators, and two systems administrators.
