As a teacher at Hovsjöskolan, you are part of a teaching team with an assistant principal as your direct supervisor. We actively work to develop learning strategies, with a special focus on improving instruction, strengthening follow-up, and developing assessment practices. We do this, among other ways, by working in a co-teaching model with follow-up structures where we identify strengths and necessary interventions with a focus on always improving student learning. Your Responsibilities You will teach mathematics in grades 7-9 in a co-teaching model. As a teacher at Hovsjöskolan, you are responsible together with other staff for making the school day safe and meaningful for our students, where all students are all students' responsibility. You work positively, trustfully, and in a relationship-building manner. You are responsible for planning, instruction, and assessment in mathematics. You work in close collaboration with the school's other mathematics teachers and actively participate in our collegial learning meetings (KLM) that are based on the school's needs. Who Are You? As a person, you are structured, responsible, clear, and confident in your leadership. You create and maintain good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians, inspire, and base your instruction on students' strengths. You have a conviction that everyone can succeed with the right conditions and support. Requirements: You are a qualified teacher with teaching certification in mathematics. We would appreciate if you have several years of experience in teaching and/or work in school, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply. You are well familiar with the curriculum and school as an organization. You take responsibility and collaborate to develop instruction and results at our school. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Merits: Experience teaching in primary school (grundskolan). Experience and knowledge using digital tools.
