Hotel Receptionist – Weekends and Occasional Weekdays, Lidköping

Receptionist for weekends and a few occasional days during the week. Are you service-oriented, positive, and enjoy meeting people? Then the role of receptionist might be perfect for you. The reception is the heart of the hotel and an important contact point for both guests and staff. As a receptionist, you represent the hotel and help ensure that every guest receives professional, personalized, and welcoming service – from arrival to departure. Your responsibilities will include: Handling check-ins and check-outs Providing personal and professional service to hotel guests Managing bookings and administrative reception tasks Answering phone calls and operating the telephone switchboard Assisting guests with questions, requests, and recommendations Actively working on upselling Handling various situations and solving problems in a service-oriented manner The work can be intense and varied at times. We're looking for someone who is flexible, stress-resilient, and able to maintain a calm and positive demeanor even during busy periods. As a receptionist, you'll have the opportunity to meet people from around the world and be an important part of their hotel experience. We're looking for you if you: Are service-oriented, positive, and take responsibility Enjoy working with people Are flexible and solution-focused Can work independently and take initiative Have good communication skills Have previous experience in reception or the service industry – desirable but not required Speak and write fluent Swedish and have good English proficiency The right attitude and genuine interest in service are most important to us. You must have worked as a receptionist previously, and it's a plus if you're familiar with the MEWS booking system.
