The reception is the heart of the hotel and an important contact point for both guests and staff. As a receptionist, you represent the hotel and contribute to ensuring every guest receives professional, personal, and welcoming service – from arrival to departure. Your responsibilities will include: Handling check-ins and check-outs Providing personal and professional service to hotel guests Managing bookings and administrative reception tasks Answering phone calls and managing the switchboard Assisting guests with questions, requests, and recommendations Working actively on upselling Handling various situations and solving problems in a service-oriented manner The work can at times be intense and varied. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible, handles stress well, and can maintain a calm and positive approach even when the pace is high. As a receptionist, you'll have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and be an important part of their hotel experience. We are looking for you who Are service-oriented, positive, and responsible Enjoy working with people Are flexible and solution-oriented Can work independently and take own initiative Have good communication skills Have previous experience from reception or the service industry – an advantage, but not required Speak and write fluent Swedish and have good English skills Are at least 20 years old The right attitude and a genuine interest in service are most important to us. You must have previously worked as a receptionist, and it's a bonus if you are familiar with the MEWS booking system.
