Then you might be the person we're looking for at Hotel Flora. About Us Hotel Flora is a privately owned boutique hotel in the heart of Grönsakstorget in Gothenburg. We have 71 individually designed hotel rooms, Workspace, and our restaurant. With us, the reception is more than just a reception desk. It's also a bar reception – a vibrant part of the hotel lobby where our guests check in, have a drink, ask about Gothenburg, or simply relax for a while. We believe in personal service, short decision-making processes, and a relaxed hospitality where guests feel seen without it being overdone. About the Position We're now looking for a receptionist who wants to work every other Friday evening from 3:15 PM–11:15 PM. This is a part-time position that works well if you're studying or already have another job, but want a fixed and recurring extra shift. During your shift, you'll be one of the hotel's most important contact persons. You'll welcome our arriving guests, help with bookings and inquiries, and ensure the lobby feels welcoming throughout the evening. Since our reception is also a bar reception, the role includes taking care of guests in our lobby bar and serving beverages. One moment you're checking in a guest, the next you're recommending something to drink or helping someone find the right restaurant for the evening. Your tasks include: Check-ins and check-outs, welcoming and caring for our hotel guests. Handling bookings in Visbook and BookVisit as well as bookings via email, phone, and external booking channels. Correspondence with guests and assistance with questions and requests before and during their stay. Service and hospitality in the hotel's lobby bar. Keeping the reception, lobby, and common areas pleasant and inviting. Solving the small – and sometimes unexpected – issues that come up during a hotel evening. Working Hours Every other Friday from 3:15 PM–11:15 PM. There may also be opportunities for extra work as needed, for example during vacation periods and other absences. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you: Have a natural sense of service and enjoy meeting people. Are confident, social, and comfortable working independently and taking responsibility. Enjoy switching between different tasks and can stay calm when multiple things happen at once. Have a professional yet relaxed approach to our guests. Have experience from hotels, restaurants, bars, or other service businesses. Speak Swedish and English well, both spoken and written. Experience with Visbook is a plus, as is experience with bars or serving. We'd prefer if you live in Gothenburg or nearby. What Do We Offer?
