Would you like to work as a chef in an operation where hotel, restaurant, and winter tourism meet?
We are seeking a chef for the winter season December 1–April 30, with a minimum employment rate of 50 percent. Depending on occupancy, bookings, and operational needs, there may be opportunities for additional work during parts of the season.
You will primarily work with meal preparation for our hotel guests and restaurant guests. Work may take place both at the hotel and at Restaurant Laven, depending on the season, bookings, and events.
Job Responsibilities
The position includes:
preparing and cooking lunches and dinners
working with à la carte, group bookings, and various events
planning and preparing kitchen work before service
contributing to maintaining high and consistent food quality
following food safety routines, self-inspection procedures, and safe handling practices
contributing to order, structure, and good cooperation in the kitchen
when needed, assisting with other tasks within restaurant operations
We are looking for someone who
has experience working as a chef or in equivalent kitchen work
is self-reliant and confident in the kitchen
can work in a structured manner even when the pace is fast
is flexible and solution-oriented
enjoyed working with others but can also take independent responsibility
has the ability to work evenings and weekends
Chef training is a merit, but we place great emphasis on practical experience and how well you function in the operation.
Working Hours and Scope
The employment covers the period December 1–April 30.
The employment rate is a minimum of 50 percent, with the possibility of additional hours during periods of high occupancy, larger bookings, and events.
Working hours vary and include weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
