Would you like to be part of creating the medical clinic of the future? The Medical Clinic is the hospital's largest clinic and provides specialized outpatient and inpatient care in internal medicine, neurology, rheumatology, and allergology. Here we work long-term to create good conditions for the future – with a robust operation, safe care, and proud employees. Our three guiding principles – robust, safe, and proud – permeate everything we do and drive us toward our vision: to together create the best medical clinic. We are now recruiting nurses for the cardiology unit and cardiac intensive care unit (HIA), including medical intermediate care (MIMA). In the cardiac section, we have brought together outpatient, inpatient, and day care in an integrated unit to create the best possible patient journey and practice person-centered care. Here you will get stimulating and varied work with great opportunities to develop – both clinically and academically. With us you will get: • A unique combination of work on a care unit and intensive care • In-house training at our clinical training center • Lectures by cardiologists and experienced specialist nurses • Opportunity to study cardiology at an advanced level • Opportunity to complete specialist training in medicine or cardiology with maintained salary • Take the chance to get a secure start in your professional life – with experienced colleagues by your side and a welcome bonus to join the team! 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES On the cardiology unit/HIA, we primarily care for patients with various types of heart disease. Here you will meet patients who have acutely become ill or experienced deterioration in their heart function, where the need for quick and safe care is significant. As a nurse, you lead and distribute nursing work and have a central role in the team. Together you work to meet the patient's needs in the acute phase and plan continued care in dialogue with the patient. You will often be the hub of communication between family members, home care, and other professions – an important part in creating security and safe care all the way home. At HIA, we also provide medical intermediate care (MIMA) – a care level between the care unit and intensive care. Here we care for medical patients who have deteriorated in, for example, respiration or circulation, as well as patients who have left intensive care and need an intermediate step before returning to a regular care unit. If you don't have previous experience with cardiac intensive care, you will start on the care unit and then be successively introduced to HIA and MIMA. Regardless of background, you will quickly develop your knowledge in cardiology. With us you work in a close and competent team together with nursing assistants, service assistants, doctors, and other support professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. We always keep the patient in focus and strive to provide the best possible care together. Qualifications We welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses to the cardiology unit/HIA, and here you will find a workplace with strong team spirit, significant learning, and many development opportunities. We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiac care, but that is not a requirement – your willingness to learn and develop is what matters most. You have a positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment where a lot is happening, and appreciate working in a team. Good collaboration skills and strong communication skills are essential parts of the role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
