JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to use your expertise as an occupational therapist in a role where you make a real difference? As a medical equipment consultant at KHS, you get a varied and meaningful assignment where you combine clinical knowledge, consulting, and development work. You contribute to people getting the right aids for increased independence, security, and quality of life. As a medical equipment consultant, you provide consultation and advice to prescribers and operations, and participate in the fitting and adaptation of aids based on individual needs. With us, you become part of an engaged team with high expertise and great focus on quality, collaboration, and development. You work with several product areas, for example manual and electric wheelchairs, standing and walking aids, lifts, treatment and cognition aids, as well as beds and mattresses. Which areas you are primarily responsible for may be determined based on operational needs and your experience. The role also includes planning and conducting training, product demonstrations, and information about aids, product range, and the prescription process. You also participate in product range and procurement work, registry management, as well as quality and improvement work. Environmental monitoring and competency development are natural parts of the assignment. Work takes place both at the medical equipment center and out in the operations across the county. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in prescribing and fitting medical-technical aids is a merit, as is interest in education, product range issues, and operational development. You have good knowledge of aids, the prescription process, and applicable regulations. You are confident in your profession, structured, solution-oriented, and service-minded. You enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with others and have good communication skills. You need to have good computer skills, a category B driver's license, and be able to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing.
