A HIL framework developer designs, implements, and maintains Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing systems and their underlying frameworks to validate embedded software and hardware for complex products, particularly in the automotive industry. Key responsibilities include developing automated HIL test environments using tools like dSPACE or NI Veristand, creating and executing test cases, analyzing results, integrating software and hardware models, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and Python skills, knowledge of test automation, and a deep understanding of embedded systems and functional safety. Key Responsibilities HIL Framework Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain the architecture of HIL test systems and the software frameworks that run them. Test Automation: Implement automated tests within the HIL environment to improve efficiency and enable continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
