We are seeking a truck driver with a loader crane (HIAB driver) for our client to work on a major project in Boden, Sweden. EMPLOYMENT TERMS Work Location: Boden, Sweden Start: As soon as possible Project Duration: Minimum 6 months Work Hours: Full-time Accommodation: Provided by the client Tax-free Allowances: Swedish meal allowance of 300 SEK/day, which will be reduced to 235 SEK/day after three months. JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB DRIVER You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will operate have a lifting capacity of 165 tons per meter (T/m) and consist mainly of Fassi and Palfinger cranes. Your responsibilities will include: - Standard transport and material handling lifts - More complex and precision-demanding lifting and assembly work - Planning lifts together with other professionals - Close collaboration with fitters, lifting supervisors, and site management - Understanding and adapting to changing site conditions while working safely and efficiently - Safe loading and unloading - Handling of lifting equipment, rigging, and lifting gear This is more than just operating a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and be able to work safely and professionally with others on the site. REQUIREMENTS - Class C driver's license (Class CE qualification is a plus) - Valid crane certificate - Valid digital tachograph card WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU - Have experience operating truck-mounted loader cranes (HIAB) - Have good knowledge of workplace safety and health - Are responsible, self-motivated, and take initiative - Hold the necessary certificates and qualifications for this position - Have previous experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (a plus) MORE INFORMATION The Boden project has recently secured new funding and the work site is currently being established. Since the project is not yet in full operation, initial working hours will be: - Monday-Friday - 8 hours per day Once the project is in full operation, the schedule will transition to a more traditional rotation schedule for industrial projects: - Monday-Saturday - 10 hours per day - Two weeks of work followed by one week off This is an excellent opportunity if you want to participate in a long-term project in a demanding and exciting industrial environment.
