HIAB Crane Truck Driver Needed for Our Client in Boden

We are seeking a crane truck driver (HIAB operator) for our client to work on a large project in Boden, Sweden. EMPLOYMENT TERMS Work Location: Boden, Sweden Start: As soon as possible Project Duration: Minimum 6 months Work Hours: Full-time Housing: Provided by the client Tax-Free Allowances: Swedish per diem of 300 SEK/day, which will be reduced to 235 SEK/day after three months. JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB CRANE OPERATOR You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will operate have a lifting capacity of 165 ton-meters (T/m) and consist mainly of Fassi and Palfinger cranes. Your responsibilities will include: - Standard transport and material handling lifts - More advanced and precision-requiring lifting and assembly work - Planning lifts together with other trades - Close collaboration with installers, lift supervisors, and site management - Understanding and adapting to changing site conditions while working safely and efficiently - Safe loading and unloading - Handling of lifting equipment, rigging, and lifting apparatus This is more than just operating a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and be able to work safely and professionally alongside others on the job site. REQUIREMENTS - Driver's License Category C (Category CE is a plus) - Valid crane certification - Valid digital tachograph card WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU - Have experience operating crane trucks (HIAB) - Have good knowledge of workplace health and safety - Are responsible, self-motivated, and take initiative - Hold the necessary certifications and qualifications for the position - Have previous experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (a plus) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Boden project has recently received new funding and the work site is currently being established. Since the project is not yet in full operation, work hours will initially be: - Monday-Friday - 8 hours per day Once the project is in full operation, the work schedule will transition to a more traditional rotation schedule for industrial projects: - Monday-Saturday - 10 hours per day - Two weeks of work followed by one week off This is an excellent opportunity for you to participate in a long-term project in a challenging and exciting industrial environment.
