HIAB Truck Driver Needed for Our Client in Boden

We are seeking a truck driver with a mounted crane (HIAB driver) for our client to work on a major project in Boden, Sweden. EMPLOYMENT TERMS Work Location: Boden, Sweden Start Date: As soon as possible Project Duration: Minimum 6 months Work Hours: Full-time Accommodation: Provided by the client Tax-Free Allowances: Swedish meal allowance of 300 SEK/day, which will be reduced to 235 SEK/day after three months. JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB DRIVER You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will operate have a lifting capacity of 165 ton-meters (T/m) and consist primarily of Fassi and Palfinger cranes. Your responsibilities will include: - Standard transport and material handling lifts - More advanced and precision-demanding lifting and assembly work - Planning lifts together with other trades - Close collaboration with assemblers, lift directors, and site management - Understanding and adapting to changing site conditions while working safely and efficiently - Safe loading and unloading - Handling of lifting equipment, rigging, and lifting gear This is more than just operating a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and work safely and professionally alongside others on the site. REQUIREMENTS - Driver's license category C (category CE is a plus) - Valid crane certificate - Valid digital tachograph card WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO - Has experience operating truck-mounted cranes (HIAB) - Has good knowledge of occupational health and safety - Is responsible, self-directed, and proactive - Holds the required certificates and licenses for this position - Has previous experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (preferred) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Boden project has recently received new financing and the work site is currently being established. Since the project is not yet fully operational, working hours will initially be: - Monday-Friday - 8 hours per day Once the project is in full operation, the work schedule will shift to a more traditional rotation schedule for industrial projects: Monday-Saturday - 10 hours per day - Two weeks of work followed by one week off This is an excellent opportunity for you if you want to participate in a long-term project in a challenging and exciting industrial environment.
