All grades are housed in the same building, but the different levels have separate departments. Library and school cafeteria are located in the school's center and serve as natural meeting places. The school also has a large and well-equipped gymnasium that opened in September 2019.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking a certified elementary school teacher with qualifications to teach Mathematics in grades 6-9 at Herrestorpskolan. This position is a temporary contract for fall 2026 with the possibility of extension.
You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that centers on student learning.
You are a dedicated teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations of students and the ability to communicate these in a motivating manner. You approach things from the students' perspective as you, together with other staff and management, organize, run, and develop the school.
You collaborate easily and you have good communication skills—your students know what they can do, where they are going, and how to get there.
As a candidate for this position, you have strong subject knowledge in mathematics and place great importance on helping students progress as far as possible in the subject. Don't hesitate to apply; interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis throughout the application period.
