We are now recruiting several home care personnel for Vardaga Home Care Södermalm who can work on an on-call basis as well as rotating weekend shifts. We offer stimulating work and several benefits. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. The work consists of helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, service tasks such as shopping and cleaning, and responding to safety alarms. The work tasks also include performing social documentation and carrying out certain health and medical care tasks on delegation from a nurse. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. About Vardaga Home Care Södermalm, Team Maria-Gamla Stan We have two offices. One office is located at Mariatorget, near the red line subway, and our other office is located in Gamla Stan. We believe in being close to our customers and work with geographic schedules. When you work with us, you move between customers by walking or cycling. We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines, and what is expected of our employees when visiting customers. We have present managers – so that our employees receive the support they need. We have a unique working hours model where our employees can largely be offered full-time work, Monday to Friday, which is unusual in care and elderly care. We have a dementia team with in-depth knowledge in the field of dementia who coach their colleagues in working with our customers who have dementia. Perhaps you would like to be part of the team? Your Experience and Knowledge We believe that you who are applying to us: - Are attracted to varied work and understand the importance of good treatment in all situations. - Are a creative person who dares to think independently and take personal responsibility. - Are curious about other people and have a social approach. We would like to see that you are trained as a nursing assistant and have worked for several years in elderly care. Good computer skills, experience with documentation, and local knowledge are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
