About Sturefors Senior Living and Home Care Sturefors senior living and home care in Linköping is operated as a contract service with Linköping Municipality as the client. Our facilities are located at Näckrosvägen 146 in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sturefors, 1 mile south of Linköping. About the Role The role involves a shared position where you work both as our activities coordinator and as part of our regular home care team. The work consists of helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, service tasks such as shopping and cleaning, and responding to safety alarms. The tasks also include performing social documentation and performing certain health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. Activities Responsibility Our senior living facility has a Meeting Point that welcomes residents over 65 years old to socialize, participate in activities, and enjoy meals at our lunch service. As activities coordinator, you play a central role in creating a meaningful and stimulating program for our visitors. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing social and health-promoting activities, as well as establishing contacts with and booking various forms of entertainment and external partners. In this role, you contribute to creating a welcoming meeting place that promotes community, participation, and well-being. We would like to see that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills, experience with documentation, and local knowledge are also merits. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
