Home Care Staff - Weekend Shifts on Östermalm

We are now looking for one or more people at Team Skeppargatan home care who want to and can work extra shifts on weekends during day or evening hours. We would like you to have experience working in elderly care and be trained as a nursing assistant or care assistant, or perhaps have ongoing training in nursing or occupational therapy, etc. We have the opportunity to offer permanent weekend work - every other weekend or every weekend. About the role Weekend work consists of helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, supervision, cooking, transfers, and responding to safety alarms. The work also includes performing social documentation. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. About Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargaton We are a team with an office on Östermalm near the subway and our customers. We are about 60 people and we have about 170 customers, all living near our location on Östermalm. On weekends, 12 people work during the day and 8 in the evening, and it is an ambitious group that supports each other and is committed to providing customers with good care and service. We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines, and what is expected of our employees when visiting customers. Managers are on-site and responsible for weekends so that our employees get the support they need. Your experience and knowledge We hope that you who apply to us: - Enjoy working with people and providing service - Are trained as a nursing assistant or care assistant or are studying to become a nurse or similar people-oriented profession - Perhaps have experience working in home care or at elderly homes/disability services, etc. - Can work daytime from 07:30 or evening hours between 16:00 and 22:30 on a fixed rotating schedule or on an hourly basis - Find it easy to collaborate with customers, colleagues, relatives, and managers - Speak and write Swedish well - Can take responsibility and care about other people - Enjoy walking as the work is active and you move between customer visits - Have a positive attitude and want to contribute to the workplace and work group Other information Salary: We apply individual salary setting - hourly/monthly salary depending on employment form.
