How you'll make a difference with us As Head of Technology, you get a unique opportunity to shape the next chapter in Vimla's development. You take over responsibility for a newly established Technology function where Development, Operations, and Data come together under unified leadership. Together with your team, you build a modern, scalable, and business-aligned Technology function that enables Vimla's continued growth. During the first 12-24 months, your focus will be on modernizing our technology platform, reducing technical debt, establishing a DevOps approach, and building strong Data & Analytics capabilities. You lead the development of working methods, architecture, and expertise while ensuring stable and secure operations of our digital services. The role involves close partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer, where together you translate the business's priorities into technical solutions and drive the development of future customer experiences. You become a key player in initiatives including AI solutions, data, new digital services, and commercial product development. As part of Vimla's leadership team, you get significant authority and short decision-making paths. An important part of the assignment is also ensuring that Vimla remains agile and entrepreneurial, while leveraging the strength of being part of Telenor. This is a role for someone who wants to build something lasting while having real influence over technology, organization, and business. Are you the one we're looking for? We believe you have: Experience leading and developing a technology organization in development, operations, and systems integration. Experience modernizing technology platforms, managing technical debt, and creating scalable solutions. The ability to build structure, develop working methods, and create engagement without building unnecessary bureaucracy. Experience with close collaboration between product, business, or commercial functions where technology and operations develop together. It's a plus if you have experience with: Data & Analytics, BI, and data-driven approaches. Strategic technology partnerships and Make-or-Buy decisions. Telecommunications or other subscription-based businesses. AI, automation, or AI-assisted development.
