We are looking for someone who wants to take overall responsibility for financial management, monitoring and business development. About the role You are responsible for the entire controlling and finance function within Bergkvist Siljan, from forestry and raw material supply to industrial production and sales. The role is clearly close to operations and involves a large element of operational, hands-on work within controlling, while you lead and develop the finance and accounting team. A central part of the task is to translate operational data into business insights and actively contribute to decisions that develop the business. You work close to the organization and are an important partner to the business managers. You will be the main contact person for everything related to finance and controlling between the Swedish organization and the group's headquarters. You are also responsible for external relations within finance, such as auditors, banks and advisors. Areas of responsibility Controlling (operational and close to business) · Overall responsibility for operational and strategic controlling · Production and facility controlling (cost structures, efficiency, margins) · Budget, forecasts and variance analyses with clear link to operations · Development of decision-making materials for investments and development projects · Identify and follow up improvement potential in business and production · Close collaboration with production, forestry and other functions. Finance (management and coordination) · Personnel responsibility for the finance function in Sweden · Lead and develop a decentralized finance organization · Ensure efficient working methods and high quality in financial reporting · A present and accessible leadership with good anchorage in the business. Financial statements & reporting · Overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements · Ensure compliance with local regulations and group requirements · Reporting to the group's headquarters in Austria · Main contact with auditors, tax consultants and authorities. Other · Drive continuous improvements in finance and controlling · Development of processes, systems and KPIs · Ensure structure, transparency and business focus · Strengthen the link between finance and business decisions. Your profile We are looking for someone with a strong controlling background and a genuine interest in the business. · You have an academic degree in economics · Several years of controlling experience is a requirement · Good knowledge of accounting and financial regulations · Experience working in an international environment is a merit · Ability to combine operational work with leadership in a decentralized organization · Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working · Experience leading and developing employees · Fluent Swedish and English · We expect you to be comfortable navigating different business and accounting systems. The employment The position as Head of Finance & Controlling is permanent full-time with placement in Insjön or Mora.
