I'm a cheerful and fun 12-year-old boy with a tracheostomy who will be starting middle school in Kristianstad after summer break. To ensure I have a safe, enjoyable, and well-functioning school day, I'm now seeking a personal assistant who wants to be with me during school hours. As my assistant, you'll help me with things I can't manage on my own. This includes: Monitoring my tracheostomy. Assisting me with personal care. Supporting me during meals. Being by my side throughout the entire school day so I can focus on being a student, having fun, and developing. What the workday looks like You'll start your workday at my home, just outside Linderöd. To get to my home, you'll need a driver's license and access to your own car, as there's no convenient public transportation to our area. We'll then travel together to and from school by school taxi. After the school day ends, you'll come home with me before your work shift finishes. If I become ill and need to stay home from school, you'll work with me at home during your regular hours instead. Then you'll help with my personal care, ensure I have a good day, and find activities that suit how I'm feeling. My final schedule isn't confirmed yet, but you can expect working hours of approximately Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Who are you? The most important thing is that you don't need to know everything from the start – we'll teach you! You'll receive a thorough introduction, on-the-job training, and education before you work independently. We believe you're someone who: Has great patience. Is trustworthy, responsible, and attentive. Enjoyed working with children. Works well with both family and school staff. Likes animals and thrives in a home with activity and energy. I live with my wonderful family and several animals, so things are almost always bustling at our place. If you enjoy action, laughter, and no two days being the same, you'll definitely fit in with us! About the position Approximately 80%. Monday–Friday. Working hours approximately 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
