Knutpunkten, the Business and Competence Unit
Knutpunkten serves individuals of working age who need support from collaborating public agencies to establish or re-establish themselves in the job market. The activity aims to, among other things, shorten the path to employment, education, and financial independence for individuals through collaboration between relevant agencies. We work with a solution-focused approach, based on empowerment, and we address the needs of the whole person.
We are now seeking a mentor for our Knutpunkten activity.
Your Responsibilities
As a mentor, you will inspire, motivate, and guide participants. You will have process responsibility for a number of individuals and ensure they have coherent planning through collaboration from start, implementation, and completion. Knutpunkten offers guidance, group activities, internships, and training according to individual plans.
The activity is located at Edholmsgatan in Västervik, and you will be part of the existing team at Knutpunkten.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with higher education in behavioral science, social work, or equivalent. We place high value on personal qualities.
Experience working in collaboration between different agencies with understanding of the regulations governing public agencies is a merit. You have strong commitment to supporting people who need assistance to move toward employment or education. You are skilled at leading groups and building new relationships. High demands are placed on communication, attentiveness, empathy, and collaboration skills. You must be comfortable with documentation.

If you need help finding housing, we will do our best to assist. The Relocation Service in Västervik Municipality provides tips, information, and contacts for work, housing, schools, and more. The Relocation Service also organizes regular meetings for newcomers to provide opportunities to meet new people and facilitate a faster integration into life in Västervik.
