The Employment Services Unit in Oskarshamn Municipality works to create opportunities for people outside the labor market or without self-sufficiency to move forward. Operations are now being developed to meet new needs, including in response to upcoming activity requirements for recipients of financial assistance. 3 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES The work is based on participants' individual action plans and takes place in close collaboration with employment counselors and other colleagues in the unit. You participate in introductory and follow-up meetings and are responsible for ongoing documentation of participants' progress and attendance according to the unit's guidelines. Work is conducted using the BIP method. In this role, you plan, lead, and follow up on daily work together with other coordinators. You coach participants in both practical work tasks and in developing work-life skills such as language, responsibility, collaboration, and structure. Safety and a good work environment are a natural part of the work. Examples of tasks participants can be guided in include retail work, materials and furniture handling, maintenance of green spaces or playgrounds, repairs, and creative activities. The work may also involve accompanying participants on assignments outside the unit's facilities. The role is varied and suits you if you enjoy combining practical work, coaching, relationship-building, and developmental work. Regardless of the task, the goal is to support participants' development and progress toward working life. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and the ability to recognize and utilize individuals' strengths and potential. You are confident, clear, and responsive in interactions with people in different life situations and have a professional demeanor. As a person, you are organized, self-driven, and confident in making decisions. You have good collaboration skills, communicate clearly, and contribute to a safe, well-organized, and learning work environment that promotes motivation, participation, and responsibility. Since the operations are under development, we would appreciate if you want to contribute to developing and improving working methods. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. For this position, you must have: • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • documented experience in coaching people far from the labor market • experience working with labor market initiatives, social services, integration, or similar • knowledge and experience in practical work • computer skills and knowledge of the Office package • B-class driver's license It is meritious if you have experience working with newly arrived or language-weak individuals, people with functional variations, particularly NPF diagnoses, work according to the BIP model, rehabilitation or wellness programs. It is also meritious if you have experience with motivational conversations or other structured conversation methods. Knowledge of languages other than Swedish, solution-focused work methods, Supported Employment, conflict management, or coaching/leadership training is also valuable for this assignment.
