Järfälla Municipality is growing rapidly, and we actively work to offer residents a broad and accessible cultural and recreational offering. We are now looking for an engaged and confident instructor who wants to help develop the work training activities within Fritidsbanken. This is a position for you with an interest in combining a passion for sports and outdoor activities with making a real difference for people on their way to work and self-sufficiency. The position is placed at Fritidsbanken within the Järfälla Recreation Department. The department is responsible for, among other things, the operation and development of sports and recreation facilities, bathing areas and exercise trails, as well as cooperation with the municipality's association life. Fritidsbanken is a free-of-charge lending service where private individuals, schools, and associations can borrow sports and recreation equipment. Our activities contribute to increased physical activity, inclusion, and sustainability by making recreational activities accessible to everyone, regardless of economic circumstances. Everything from ice skates and skis to balls, rackets, inline skates, and skateboards are loaned out here. Within the service, we also offer work training for people who are outside the labor market and need support to develop their abilities and strengthen their path toward work or studies. As an instructor, you will become a key person in this work. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As an instructor, you are responsible for planning, structuring, and leading the daily work for participants in the work training service. You work closely with the Fritidsbanken coordinator and create conditions for the store, warehouse, and workshop to function well. You support participants in developing workplace competencies, routines, and self-confidence while contributing to the service maintaining high quality and developing over time. Your role is to: • Plan, prioritize, and lead the daily work for participants. • Coach, motivate, and mentor individuals based on their individual needs and circumstances. • Introduce and instruct in practical work tasks within Fritidsbanken's operations. • Support participants in developing work routines, social skills, and workplace competencies. • Ensure that the lending service, warehouse, and workshop function efficiently and in an organized manner. • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to service development. • Collaborate with the Labor Market Unit and other relevant stakeholders regarding participants' development and goals. QUALIFICATIONS You have a genuine interest in people and enjoy working in a role where you can combine leadership, practical work, and social commitment. • Driver's license category B. • Good knowledge of sports, outdoor activities, and recreation equipment. • Experience from association work, outdoor activities, or similar contexts. • Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching groups. • Ability to clearly and pedagogically explain practical work tasks. • Good ability to plan, organize, and create structure in everyday work. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with labor market initiatives or work training activities. • Experience working with people who need extra support on their path to the labor market. • Active involvement in association life in Järfälla Municipality or another municipality. To succeed in the role, you are a confident and responsible person who finds it easy to build trusting relationships. You are clear in your communication, attentive to individuals' different needs, and have the ability to motivate others to develop. You enjoy taking initiative, see possibilities in challenges, and work well with both colleagues and external parties. At the same time, you are organized and have the ability to create order and direction in an operation with many contact points. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
