Do you want to combine a hands-on responsibility for Järfälla's outdoor environments with a strong social commitment? The Technical Department is responsible for the operation, maintenance and care of the municipality's parks, streets and public spaces. Within the department, we run an important activity for Järfälla residents who receive financial assistance and need support in approaching the labor market. As a Supervisor, you lead a team in daily work. You ensure that the municipality's outdoor environments are well-maintained and clean, while using the work as a tool for participants to grow, build routines and develop. We are now seeking a Supervisor for a project employment until 2027-08-31, with an expected start of 1/9 this year. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your work tasks: • Operational work management: Plan, structure and lead daily outdoor work in the field, which includes park maintenance, weed removal, grass cutting and cleaning. • Safety responsibility in the field: Ensure that applicable safety regulations are followed when working near traffic, including positioning and compliance with rules for • Work on Road (APV). • Supervision and coaching: Support, motivate and instruct participants based on their individual conditions and abilities. • Quality assurance: Ensure that work in the municipality's outdoor environments maintains high quality. • Cooperation: Have ongoing dialogue with the Employment Unit regarding participants' progress and goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Good knowledge of green space maintenance: Experience with practical park work, property maintenance or similar outdoor work. • Safety competence: Certification or good knowledge in Work on Road (APV). • Pedagogical experience: Experience leading or supervising groups, preferably people who have been outside the labor market for a long time or who need extra support. • Clear communication: You have the ability and patience to explain practical work tasks and safety routines in a simple and secure way. • Requirements: Class B driver's license, Work on Road 1.3 Meritorious: • Machine experience (e.g., brush cutter, riding mower), construction work and education in horticulture, social pedagogy or other relevant post-secondary education. Personal qualities To succeed in the role, you are a confident and stable adult with great patience, strong safety awareness and high empathy. You have the ability to balance the demand for work completed with the sensitivity required in human interaction. You enjoy working outdoors in all weather and are skilled at creating a positive and safe team spirit.
