About the job As an enforcement officer, you primarily work with deciding on appropriate measures to regulate debts. To prevent people from falling into serious debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities becomes an important part of your work. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps both those who haven't been paid and those who need to pay. You investigate assets, make decisions about appropriate enforcement measures of varying scope and complexity. This involves analyzing and assessing different types of information. You request supplements via phone, email, and letter in contact with various parties. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the information and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality. You will undergo a six-month internal training period where practice alternates with theory, and you will also have a mentor who supports you initially. The training includes law, communication, and conversation techniques. You will be part of a team that jointly takes responsibility for results, planning, and work distribution. Everyone who works at the Enforcement Authority contributes to combating crime. Your duties include identifying and preventing attempted criminal activity and notifying other authorities about suspected crimes. As an enforcement officer, you can, for example, alert other authorities if a person receives benefits on incorrect grounds. This can result in you helping to stop incorrect payments from the welfare system. The position is located in Uddevalla. Your qualifications: - Final grades from upper secondary education - 1 year of work experience in administrative or enforcement work within the last five years - good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in enforcement and decision-making that affects individuals. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an enforcement officer. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means that you follow the state value base. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions at interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to references. We also collect information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. The information obtained will be weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance classification. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
