Here you create social value together with knowledgeable colleagues. Discover a diverse and meaningful role! About the Job At Skatteupplysningen, you are the Swedish Tax Agency's face to the public. You answer questions about population registration primarily from individuals and guide them on how to best use our digital services. You build trust through attentiveness and excellent customer service. Questions come mainly by phone. You take responsibility for keeping yourself updated on news and changes within your work area. Using various digital information channels, you also seek answers during conversations with customers. Most questions are straightforward and quick to answer, but some are more complex. The job also includes administrative tasks such as sending certificates and various forms. A small number of cases can also be handled directly during conversations with customers. In this role, you interact with customers throughout the day and meet a wide diversity of people. You work in a team close to your colleagues and you give and receive support from each other. You develop your skills in customer service and gain broad knowledge within the population registration area. At Skatteupplysningen, you work scheduled hours and work-life balance is a given for us. You will be part of a customer service section within the Population and Property Department, based in Gothenburg. The section consists of approximately 20 people. About You To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. Good judgment and understanding of legal security and data protection are important in this role. You must also comply with our employee policy. In this job, you should: - Have excellent customer service skills with both customers and colleagues - Be flexible and quickly shift between different tasks - Be able to speak and write clearly and simply in both Swedish and English - Be skilled at collaboration and support others to reach common goals - Be goal-focused and contribute to achieving the purpose of the organization - Be able to analyze information flows, identify connections, and make decisions You should also have: - A university degree of at least 180 ECTS credits (120 credits) in law, social sciences, or other relevant higher education for the position - Current and relevant work experience from customer interactions where you have answered incoming questions via phone or in-person meetings It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from customer interactions within public administration, insurance companies, banks, or similar organizations. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision. For some of our work tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
