Your responsibilities
The position is placed at the National Unit Against International and Organized Crime in Stockholm. As a case handler, you will experience an eventful workday with varying tasks.
You work independently but also as part of a team to ensure that administrative work functions smoothly. Service is a major part of your daily work, both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities include:
providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work in the crime case diary, handling archiving, and performing general office tasks
examining, assessing, and registering incoming cases
serving as the external contact in many contexts and thereby providing good service to both the general public and other authorities – primarily via phone and email
performing work tasks assigned by the administrative manager, such as certain preparation work.
The workday is event-driven and urgent matters can come in quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and assess what is urgent and what is not.
Your qualities and qualifications
We are looking for someone who
has a high school diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent,
has skills equivalent to several years of well-documented work with administrative tasks that the Office of the Prosecutor General considers relevant,
has experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools in administration, telephony, meetings, etc.
has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
You should also
be meticulous, organized, and follow the guidelines and procedures that exist,
be independent and responsible,
be stress-resilient as workload can be high at times,
be stable with good self-awareness,
have a natural ability to collaborate and have an open approach to those around you,
be service-oriented,
have good communication skills.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
Tests may be used in the recruitment process.
The position is classified as a security position and therefore a security clearance with criminal record check will be conducted.
