The General Inheritance Fund finances hundreds of important development projects in civil society each year. The fund finances construction and facilities projects aimed at improving the lives of our four target groups: children, youth, people with disabilities, and elderly persons over 65 years old. The Inheritance Fund also finances multi-year development projects by and with the target groups. Examples of activities that have started or been developed as Inheritance Fund projects include transportation services, personal assistance, five-a-side football, sports halls, meeting places for the elderly, outdoor facilities, Glada Hudik Theatre, Cirkus Cirkör, Friends, and the Suicide Prevention Hotline.
The Inheritance Fund Department at the Swedish Courts Administration is divided into five units. The Inheritance Unit represents the General Inheritance Fund when it is an heir or beneficiary. Project Units 1, 2, and 3, and the Support and Control Unit prepare project applications for decision by the Inheritance Fund Delegation. In addition to distributing funds, the units conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation work and have extensive communications activities.
Job Description
We are now seeking an experienced case handler for Project Unit 2. We are looking for someone who wants to work with handling applications and reports from associations seeking premises and facilities support. You will prepare applications and present recommendations for decisions to the Inheritance Fund Delegation. The handling takes place in collaboration with colleagues in the unit and with external reference persons. As a case handler, you are responsible for projects from application through final reporting.
The work as a case handler includes representing the authority in meetings with civil society organizations, reviewing application texts and budgets, supplementing applications, and providing support to approved premises support projects. You will also participate in seminars held by the General Inheritance Fund, conduct project visits, participate in internal development work, and perform administrative tasks.
Travel within Sweden may be part of the position.
Are you our new colleague?
We are looking for someone who has:
A university degree or equivalent education that the Swedish Courts Administration considers equivalent for employment
Current competence/experience working with issues concerning the Inheritance Fund's target groups: children, youth, people with disabilities, or elderly persons
Several years of experience with case handling or qualified administration within government, regional, or municipal operations or with projects in civil society
It is a merit if you have:
Experience working with construction and facilities issues in civil society, the private sector, or the public sector (for example, building permit matters, accessibility, or energy efficiency).
Current experience with project applications and project administration
Current experience with the conditions facing non-profit organizations
Personal Qualities
The work requires that you are communicative and have a well-developed ability to summarize and explain complex matters in both speech and writing in Swedish. As a person, you are self-directed, service-oriented, and structured in your work methods. You are a good administrator and enjoy working with both texts and numbers. It is important that you can work both independently and in a group and have good collaboration skills.

Permanent employment beginning with a six-month probationary period. The position is located in Stockholm where we are situated in activity-based premises on Slottsbacken across from the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan.
