Our Workplace The Follow-up and Control Unit is part of the Correct Payments business area and is responsible for coordinating the agency's work against incorrect payments, welfare fraud, and workplace crime. The unit works to prevent, detect, investigate, and follow up on incorrect payments, combat benefit fraud and fraud, and recover incorrectly paid benefits. The unit consists of six sections with over 100 employees in locations including Falun, Kalmar, and Solna. Do you want to help protect the welfare system? Job Description As a case handler, you are expected to independently and in groups, review and investigate cases to ensure that the regulatory requirements are met before making decisions on support to employers or providers. The role mainly involves: Conducting investigations and assessments of employers' conditions before deciding on wage subsidies, which includes reviewing compliance with conditions, financial capacity, and identifying risks for incorrect payments. Obtaining and analyzing relevant documentation through contact with employers, internal functions, and other authorities. Communicating with employers and colleagues to supplement or clarify information. Documenting investigations and writing decision documents in accordance with applicable regulations. We are looking for someone who works in a structured and meticulous manner. You can analyze information, make well-founded assessments, and apply regulations in your work. You communicate well both verbally and in writing and work well with others. You are responsible, service-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The work location is Solna. The salary range is 32,500–37,000 kr, with individual salary determination applied. Read more about our organization and mission on our website More about working with us Basic Qualifications Completed upper secondary education in an area relevant to the employer, proven through a diploma in the form of final grades, upper secondary school diploma, or vocational upper secondary school diploma. For foreign qualifications, the education must be validated by UHR. At least one year of documented and current work experience in case handling at a government agency or economic work that has included interpreting business accounting and other economic documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish, that is, good ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and high reading comprehension. Additional Merits for the Position Higher education of at least 180 credits (120 credits under the previous system) in an area relevant to the position, for example with a focus on economics or law.
