Description
We are seeking a driven and solution-oriented handler with a focus on physical occupational environment and facilities. We offer you an exciting assignment at the Children and Education Administration in Värnamo Municipality, where you have a key role with many contact points.
You will work at the administrative unit together with two colleagues with similar tasks. In addition to facilities and security matters, the unit is also responsible for HR issues, staffing, IT matters, school transportation, and the management of summons, minutes, and public records. The workplace is at the Court House in central Värnamo where the administration's central functions and management are located. The Children and Education Administration has approximately 1,350 employees within preschool, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and cultural school.
Responsibilities
You will be part of a team working with occupational environment, facilities matters, and projects. Your tasks include coordinating and implementing decisions within property and security-related areas. You will represent the administration in relation to other departments and external stakeholders within your areas of responsibility.
The position is a support function to the Children and Education Administration's managers, headmasters, and operations.
Qualifications
You have relevant post-secondary education for example in project management, real estate, occupational environment, safety, or other education deemed relevant by the employer.
It is meritorious to have experience with school-related matters and project management. It is also an advantage if you additionally have knowledge in economics, procurement, or purchasing.
You have good experience with and are comfortable working digitally and master Office365 without difficulty. You are skilled at expressing yourself orally and in writing in the Swedish language and communicate in a clear manner.
To succeed in the role, you must be self-driven and take initiative, as well as have good collaboration skills and find it easy to build relationships since you have many contact points. As a person you need to be flexible, thorough, and service-oriented.

Terms
The position is filled subject to required decisions being made. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis before the application deadline expires. Start date October 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Children and Education Administration. Our administration is responsible for preschools, primary schools, upper secondary school, adult education, and cultural school in the municipality.
