Job Responsibilities We are looking for someone with solid experience in public authority administration and qualified legal investigation work. In this role, you will work as a specialist to ensure legally sound decisions, prevent incorrect payments, and strengthen the organization's control efforts. This position suits you if you have experience from a government agency, municipality, or other public sector organization where legal assessments and advanced case handling have been central to your work. The work encompasses both operational and strategic matters related to incorrect payments and welfare fraud. You will be responsible for investigating suspected incorrect payments within LSS and SoL, analyzing complex legal issues, and preparing decision documentation for recovery claims, reports, and other legal measures. The role also includes interpreting and applying relevant legislation, case law, and legislative history. An important part of the role is to develop the organization's preventive work through risk analyses, control measures, and improved routines and processes. You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, provide legal support to managers and case handlers, and contribute to training and knowledge-building initiatives on regulations and legal application. We are looking for someone who not only wants to investigate individual cases, but who is also driven to develop working methods, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to long-term, knowledge-based work against welfare fraud and incorrect payments. It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), the Administrative Procedure Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Municipal Act, the Welfare Fraud Act, and administrative procedure and basic administrative law principles. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience in qualified investigation and decision-making work within government operations, for example from Försäkringskassan, Arbetsförmedlingen, Pensionsmyndigheten, Utbetalningsmyndigheten, IVO, Migrationsverket, Skatteverket, or another relevant government agency. We also view experience in one or more of the following areas positively: incorrect payments, recovery claims, and welfare fraud welfare fraud, notification procedures, and internal control risk analyses and process development training and development initiatives in law or public authority administration To succeed in this role, you need to be analytical and able to make well-founded legal assessments in complex cases.
