Local Planning Unit West (LplE V) LplE V is part of the Swedish Armed Forces (FM). We represent FM as a client in relation to the Fortifications Agency (FORTV) and the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV), and we are responsible for open infrastructure within the Military Region West (MR Väst). MR Väst encompasses Halland, Bohuslän, Västra Götaland, Dalsland, Värmland, and Örebro counties/regions. At LplE V, Department Mitt, we are now seeking a coordinator with placement in Såtenäs. The department handles facility provision for military units in MR Väst and is an important part of growth through the procurement of facilities and properties. LplE is responsible for garrison planning, new construction/renovation (procurement), management (maintenance) and disposal of land and facilities. LplE also supports the headquarters with planning materials, operational assignments, and the development of governing documents. Job Responsibilities The infrastructure coordinator will project lead objects mainly within the management phase, renovation and expansion, but also in smaller new acquisitions. You may also project lead parts of more extensive projects as part of a combined team under a senior coordinator/project manager. You are responsible for coordinating between the Fortifications Agency, the Swedish Defence Material Administration, and operations in the projects and matters you manage. This can span from early stages to occupancy, and you will then have the role of client representative in relation to the Fortifications Agency and the Swedish Defence Material Administration. As a coordinator, you are responsible for developing needs documentation and supporting work during the design and construction phases. The role also includes maintaining contacts with various units within the Swedish Armed Forces and relevant authorities. The work involves, among other things, leading project groups, which entails extensive personal contacts and occasional travel (including overnight stays). In the unit, you are part of a working group consisting of other infrastructure coordinators, facility managers, and supervisors with whom you have continuous dialogue. In Department Mitt, you are part of the team primarily responsible for Såtenäs, but other locations and sites may also be relevant. Requirements Academic degree in construction, civil engineering, or real estate from a university or engineering program, or equivalent as assessed by the employer. You may also have relevant work experience assessed as equivalent. At least 3 years of current and relevant work experience from the construction or real estate industry B-class driver's license (manual transmission) Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Good knowledge of MS Office Personal Qualities The role requires you to have many contacts both internally and externally, so it is important that you find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships.
